Minneapolis-based McKinley Consulting Inc. merged with sister company Versique Search & Consulting under a corporate restructuring. The transaction closed Jan. 1 and was announced March 18. Terms were not disclosed.

The combined entity now operates under the Versique brand, which retains all McKinley Consulting employees.

“Although we were operating out of the same office and had a number of the same clients, our clients knew us as two different companies,” said Versique President and CEO Tony Sorensen. “This merge will provide clarity in the marketplace and a greater variety of talent acquisition solutions for our clients.”

McKinley Consulting provides IT consulting with a focus on project management and business analysis, application development and quality assurance. Versique targets IT, HR, digital marketing, engineering and operations, finance and accounting, sales, consumer packaged goods and executive retained search. The firm also has an internal digital marketing agency.

The two firms combined count more than 175 employees in Minneapolis and filled more than 300 positions in Minnesota in the last year. They expect revenues of $27 million in 2015.
