Second-quarter revenue rose 14.5 percent at Mastech Holdings Inc. (AMEX: MHH), a Pittsburgh-based information technology and healthcare staffing firm, to $25.3 million from $22.1 million in the same period last year.

Second-quarter gross margin narrowed to 19.1 percent from 20.1 percent in the year-ago quarter.

Net income rose to $458,000, a 19.9 percent increase from net income of $382,000 in the year-ago quarter.
