ManpowerGroup CEO joins board of Kohl’s department stores

ManpowerGroup Inc. (NYSE: MAN) CEO Jonas Prising was elected to serve on the board of Kohl’s Corporation, the department store operator with net sales of $19.02 billion in 2014. He takes up the role immediately.

“Jonas is a great addition to our board,” said Kevin Mansell, Kohl’s chairman, CEO and president. “His leadership of a major corporation with complex operations and his broad-based knowledge of workforce solutions and labor market expertise will be valuable assets to Kohl’s.”

Prising also serves on the board of JA Worldwide, JA USA and JA of Wisconsin Inc. In addition, he serves as a co-chair of MiKE, an organization focused on supporting innovation and entrepreneurial leadership.

He is also not the only staffing executive on Kohl’s board. Other staffing executives include Nina Vaca, chairman and CEO of staffing provider Pinnacle Group, and Dale Jones, president and CEO of Diversified Search.
