Manhattan posts highest weekly wage in Q4

New York County, which includes the New York City borough of Manhattan, reported the highest average weekly wage of all large U.S. counties in the fourth quarter of 2009 at $1,878, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.

Santa Clara County in California posted the second-highest at $1,699.

Horry County SC recorded the lowest average weekly wage at $584. It was followed by Cameron County TX and Hidalgo TX at $598 each.
