MSX International promotes exec to CFO

February 18, 2015

MSX International promoted Sam Del Mar to VP and CFO of its global operations, responsible for managing and implementing the company’s financial strategy worldwide. The promotion took effect Jan. 1.

Del Mar replaced former CFO Mike Muraske, who is now VP of MSXI’s staffing business.

Based in Detroit, Mich., MSXI is a business process outsourcing company that provides technology services in more than 80 countries. Its human capital solutions group provides professional and technical staffing services, while the retail network solutions group provides consulting services to global automakers. In August, the company acquired IQNavigator’s managed services provider division and formed Geometric Results Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of MSXI.

Del Mar joined the company in October 2003 as controller of its French operations. He has held numerous executive level positions with the company and most recently was VP of finance and treasury for MSXI globally. Previously, he was CFO of the company’s European operations and financial controller for its France, Germany and UK offices.

Prior to joining the company, Del Mar was a chartered accountant with an accounting, tax and audit practice with offices in London and Paris.

“Sam has been an integral part of MSXI’s growth during his career with the company and has the extensive financial and operational experience needed to lead these aspects on a global scale,” said President and CEO Fred Minturn. “I’ve watched Sam excel as a leader for the past 12 years and I look forward to working closely with him to continue growing MSXI worldwide.”
