MPS Group Inc. (NYSE: MPS) cut its revenue estimate. The Jacksonville FL-based professional staffing firm said it will report third-quarter revenue of between $575 million to $580 million, compared with an earlier estimate of between $580 million and $600 million.
MPS said its Badenoch & Clark division will post lower-than-expected revenue for the third quarter because of a decline in direct hire revenue and higher costs related to a management transition in Europe. Badenoch & Clark provides finance and accounting, legal, human resources and marketing staffing from 19 offices in United Kingdom and other countries.
MPS will announce its third-quarter results on Oct. 30.
