MISI acquires IT staffing firm

MISI Company bought Cue Data Services Inc., a New England-based information technology staffing firm.
 
Cue has offices in Boston, Portland ME and Toronto.

Cue's operations will take on the MISI name. Patrick Branagan, president of Cue, will remain with the company as senior VP.

Terms of the transaction were not announced. Fairmount Partners acted as advisor to MISI Company. The deal took effect July 1.

MISI is a subsidiary of NTT Data Corp. of Japan. MISI provides IT staffing as well as technology solutions for systems that involve interactions with customers. It has revenue of $70 million, according to its Web site.
