Lucas Group, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, has been acquired by private investment firm Orchard Holdings Group. Orchard acquired the 43 year-old recruitment firm from Miami-based H.I.G. Capital, a private investment firm that purchased Lucas Group in 2007.

Lucas Group focuses on mid-management recruiting and military professional placement. It counts more than 325 recruitment associates and operates 14 offices across the United States.

Orchard Holdings Group invests non-institutional, private, family capital in businesses with the potential to create substantial long-term value.
