LocumTenens.com, a job board for the locum tenens industry and full-service recruiting firm, reports its LocumTenens.com Online Job Index rose 15.5 percent in the second quarter of this year from the first quarter and is up 22.6 percent from its year-ago reading.

The index stood at 2.60 in the second quarter of 2011, a 22.6 percent overall increase from a year ago.

The LocumTenens.com Online Job Index includes data collected by LocumTenens.com since January 2007 and is a broad quarterly analysis of demand for locum tenens jobs based on the total number of active job postings at www.LocumTenens.com.
