Lloyd announces hospital partnership

January 28, 2010

Lloyd Staffing, a Melville NY-based staffing firm, announced a strategic partnership with the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council.

The council represents 24 member hospitals serving almost 3 million Long Island NY residents.

"We wanted to offer member hospitals a strong resource for health information technology professionals that offers the knowledge base to accomplish the task at hand, while bringing long-term financial and operational benefits to our members," said Wendy Darwell, chief operating officer for the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council. "This will allow them to contract directly with Lloyd under the umbrella of the agreement."

Phil Sparacino, managing director of Lloyd IT, said Lloyd has a long history in the Nassau and Suffolk area, and it's able to provide information technology staffing as well as core consulting services.

Sparacino said Lloyd can provide a variety of professional services to the hospitals including its Lloyd Document Management Services -- a division of Lloyd focused on document management services as well as electronic medical records conversion.
