The Conference Board's U.S. leading index of economic indicators fell 0.7% in July, and now stands at 101.2.
The six-month change in the index is -0.9% for an annual rate change of about -1.8%. That's up from the -3.4% annual rate at the end of the first quarter. However, The Conference Board said weaknesses among leading indicators continue to be widespread.
