Korn Ferry names new president of the Americas

Executive search firm Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY) appointed Doug Charles as president of the Americas. Charles succeeds Bob Damon, who joined the company as president of North America in 2004 and is now promoted to executive chairman for the Americas.

Charles will be based out of Korn Ferry’s Reston office and report to CEO Gary Burnison.

Charles previously spent 15 years with Capgemini in a number of executive roles, including leading the North American National Industry Groups and president of Capgemini's government solutions business. Doug also served five years at SAIC, where he led the commercial business services global business unit. He started his career in the energy sector with Entergy Corp.
