Kelly Services Inc. (NASD: KELYA) promoted George Corona to executive VP and chief operating officer effective Jan. 1. Corona will have responsibility for all of Kelly's regions and operating units. He will also oversee global sales, account management, service and marketing.

Corona joined Kelly in 1994 and presently serves as executive VP of the Americas.
