Japan – S-Pool reports revenue growth, increased costs weigh on income

Japanese staffing firm S-Pool (2471: JP) reported revenue for the six months ending 31 May 2015 of JPY 3.4 billion (USD 28 million), an increase of 6.2% compared with JPY 3.2 billion (USD 26.4 million) during the same period last year.

S-Pool reported an increase of 15.6% in sales, general, and administrative expenses in H1 2015, compared with a year ago.

S-Pool operates in two primary segments: Business Solutions and Human Resources Solutions. The Business Solutions segment provides logistics and sales promotion outsourcing services and also offers employment assistance services to persons with disabilities. The Human Resources Solutions segment provides temporary staffing, recruitment, and services concerned with human resources.
