BCforward, an Indianapolis-based managed services and staffing provider, purchased Global Networkers Inc., an IT consulting firm based in Charlotte, N.C., that also provides staffing services.

Global Networkers targets financial services, technology, industrial, consumer and technology-enabled business services. It will become a unit of BCforward and maintain its Charlotte office. CEO William Haygood III will serve as BCforward's Southeast regional director.

"This acquisition will allow us to continue to grow our operations and service both new and existing customers, particularly in the Southeast region of the United States," said BCforward CEO and founder Justin Christian.

Privately-held BCforward currently employs more than 5,000 people with resources in 47 states and Puerto Rico, as well as a presence in India and Canada.
