UK-based Impellam Group plc reported non-executive director Eileen Kelliher stepped from the board, effective immediately, to pursue other business interests. Separately, the company announced it completed the acquisition of Lorien Limited.

Impellam ranks No. 47 among the largest providers of staffing in the US.

Kelliher was appointed a non-executive Director of the company in May 2012. A solicitor with over 20 years of merger and acquisitions, corporate and fundraising experience, Kelliher joined Allen & Overy LLP, one of the world's leading law firms, as an associate in 1996 and later became an equity partner in the firm in 2001 where she practiced until 2012.

“We would like to thank Eileen for her significant contribution to the company over the past two and a half years and we wish her all the best in her future endeavours,” said Chief Executive Julia Robertson.

Impellam also completed its acquisition of Lorien Limited, a UK-based technology staffing firm, for £22.3 million (US$35.7 million) in cash and £7.5 million (US$12.0 million) in new ordinary shares.
