Impellam CEO leaving

May 14, 2009

Impellam Group PLC CEO Desmond Doyle is stepping down following a strategic review that called for a flatter and more streamlined management organization without a CEO position, the company announced. Impellam, with 2008 revenue of GBP1.07 billion (US$1.55 billion) in 2008, ranks among the largest staffing firms in the United Kingdom and also has operations in the United States.

Cheryl Jones has taken on the role of chairman and will be responsible for strategy development. Jones previously served as non-executive chairman.

Doyle had served as CEO of The Corporate Services Group PLC prior to the merger of it and Carlisle Group Ltd. in 2008 which created Impellam.
