Some 81% of information technology leaders are expected to increase or keep their IT staffing levels the same over the next six months, according to a survey by TEKsystems and the Inavero Institute.

Temporary IT hiring is expected to slightly outpace permanent IT hiring over the next six months, and staffing firms are the most utilized resource for IT hiring needs outside of internal human resources departments, according to the survey.

The survey included almost 1,000 chief information officers and IT decision-makers in the U.S. and Canada.
