The IT Employee Confidence Index increased 6.1 points to 45.8 in the second quarter of 2009, according to a recent survey commissioned by Technisource, the technology placement division of Spherion Corporation. The survey, conducted by Harris Interactive((R)), indicates that overall confidence levels among IT workers surveyed rebounded in the second quarter as a result of fewer workers believing the economy is getting weaker, and more workers reporting confidence in their personal employment situation.
