The number of information technology jobs hit another all-time monthly high in August, according to a report released today by the TechServe Alliance. The number of IT jobs was 4,198,800 in August, up 5,100 from July. Year over year, IT employment has grown 3.36 percent.

“While the month-over-month rate of growth is not quite as robust as it was earlier in the year, overall IT employment remains strong,” stated Mark Roberts, CEO of TechServe Alliance. ”We continue to see strong demand as well as a shortage of talent in certain key IT skill sets.”
