Hudson Global Inc. (NASD: HSON), a New York-based staffing provider, appointed Ian Nash to its board of directors, effective Oct. 2. Nash will serve as chairman of the audit committee, replacing Richard Stolz, who stepped down from the board on Oct. 2.

Nash has nearly 30 years of experience in the recruitment industry. He served as CFO and a director of Robert Walters PLC from 2001 to 2007 and as CFO and a director of Michael Page International PLC from 1988 to 1999. He currently serves on the boards of several privately owned companies, including Acre Resources and Earthstream Global.

“Ian’s extensive recruitment experience in international markets will be an asset to Hudson and we welcome him to the board,” said CEO Stephen Nolan. “We also thank Dick Stolz for his leadership and distinguished service over nine years on our board.”

Nash is a chartered accountant and is based in London.
