Heidrick’s former CEO leaves firm

August 23, 2013

The former CEO of Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) is leaving the executive search firm, according to a filing today with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The company earlier announced that L. Kevin Kelly was stepping down as CEO effective July 15;  however, the earlier announcement reported Kelly would remain with the company as a senior partner in its CEO and board practice. Today's announcement reported that he is leaving the company altogether.

Kelly had joined the firm in 1997.

Kelly was succeeded by Jory Marino as interim CEO. Marino formerly served as vice president and region leader, Americas.
