Heidrick & Struggles appoints chief human resources officer

December 10, 2014

Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) will appoint Richard “Rick” Greene as executive VP and chief human resources officer, a new position within the firm, effective Jan. 1. Greene will lead Heidrick & Struggles’ global HR organization and become a member of the firm’s management committee.

He will report to President and CEO Tracy Wolstencroft.

Greene rejoined Heidrick & Struggles in November as a partner in its CEO and board and CHRO practices. He previously spent three years at Bunge, a $61 billion agribusiness company, where he was both the head of global talent management and the lead HR executive for the global food and ingredients segment. During his earlier tenure with Heidrick & Struggles, Rick led the firm’s leadership consulting and chief human resources officer practices in the Americas.

“Rick will lead our fundamentally important global talent strategy,” said Wolstencroft. “He will work to ensure that we maintain a steadfast focus on attracting, developing and retaining the very best people in the industry — and further develop our winning culture.”
