Heidrick & Struggles Realigns Leaders

Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) realigned its organizational structure and operating model. Three veteran Heidrick & Struggles consultants will assume elevated regional leadership positions with expanded responsibilities, including managing growth and profitability across each region.

Jory Marino, who serves as vice chairman and a senior member of the firm’s financial services practice, will lead the Americas region.

Luis Urbano will be the regional leader for Europe. He is the company’s global managing partner for the consumer markets practice and also a partner in the CEO and board of directors practice, based in Madrid.

Steve Mullinjer will head the Asia Pacific region. Mullinjer currently leads Heidrick & Struggles’ business in Asia and the Middle East. His responsibilities have been expanded to include Australia and New Zealand. He also oversees the firm’s private equity practice in the region.

Heidrick & Struggles ranks 71st on Staffing Industry Analysts list of world’s largest staffing firms with $529 million in 2011 revenue. It ranks as the second-largest retained search firm in the U.S. with $248 million in 2011 U.S. retained search revenue.
