Healthcare workers are generally stable and secure in their current roles but uncertain about the impact of the Affordable Care Act, according to a survey of 1,650 healthcare professionals by healthcare staffing provider Medical Staffing Network Healthcare LLC.

The survey found that 58 percent of healthcare professionals feel confident in their job security, 67 percent feel fulfilled in their profession and 86 percent would recommend healthcare to future workers.

In addition, six out of 10 healthcare workers do not plan to look for a new job in the next six months.

However, healthcare workers were divided on the impact of the ACA on their profession. The survey found that 32.21 percent were unsure of the impact, 29.27 percent said the ACA would have a negative impact, 31.33 percent said a positive impact and 7.19 percent said no impact.
