Hamilton-Ryker buys staffing provider Omni Personnel

January 07, 2016

Staffing provider The Hamilton-Ryker Group Inc. acquired Omni Personnel, effective Dec. 31, 2015.

Omni Personnel, founded in 1978 by Mary Roberts, provides commercial staffing in the central Kentucky area with offices in Leitchfield and Elizabethtown, Ky.

“This acquisition adds to our presence in the state of Kentucky,” said Hamilton-Ryker President Kelly McCreight. “Mrs. Roberts’s culture at Omni Personnel is a good fit with our philosophy and core values.”

The acquisition is Hamilton-Ryker’s fifth transaction in two years as the company continues its growth strategy — both through acquisitions and organically — in the southwest and southeast.

Recent acquisitions include Texas-based Priority Personnel Inc.; Metro Data Networks, a Washington, DC-based technology services firm; Steverson Staffing Inc., a Houston-based staffing firm; and WMS iSymphony Inc., a cloud-based vendor management system/managed service provider based in Houston.

Founded in 1971 and headquartered in Tennessee, Hamilton-Ryker provides industrial, administrative and IT staffing, as well as recruiting, management consulting and information technology solutions. The company’s 34 locations operate under the brands including Hamilton-Ryker, Hamilton-Ryker IT Solutions, Steverson Staffing and Metro Data Networks.
