Staffing provider Hamilton-Ryker IT Solutions acquired Metro Data Networks, a Washington, D.C.-based technology services firm. In addition to technology services, MDN also provides information technology staffing and human resource management.

The MDN staff will remain in place and will continue to operate under the Metro Data Networks brand.

“This is an exciting and strategic acquisition that will expand our information technology offerings and provide the gateway into the DAS, cabling and wiring markets,” said Hamilton-Ryker President Kelly McCreight. “Due to its six year history in the D.C. area, MDN has strong name recognition which will help us to accelerate our growth in that market.”
