Green Planet Group Inc. sold its staffing business, which operates under the Lumea brand, to Easten Services LLC effective Dec. 15. Easten paid a nominal fee of $100 in the deal, but the staffing business’ liabilities include a $7.7 million debt to the Internal Revenue Service.

In addition, the company now has the ability to rebuild its management team by attracting experienced, qualified executives.
