Google topped LinkedIn’s list of 50 companies that its more than 109 million American and Canadian members want to work for. The list was announced yesterday in New York at the InDemand 2014 event.

The top-10 companies are:

1. Google
2. Apple
3. Amazon.com
4. Facebook
5. Salesforce.com
6. Disney
7. Nike
8. Microsoft
9. McKinsey & Company
10. Pepsico

Fifty-six percent of InDemand companies are headquartered in New York or California. Accenture, Deloitte and Microsoft were the largest companies on the list, while the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation, Netflix, and Razorfish were the smallest companies making the list.

LinkedIn calculated the ranking by analyzing data points between members and companies and comparing it with surveys of thousands of members. The analysis also weighted member actions like viewing employee profiles, visiting company pages and following companies.
