Global Employment Solutions acquired the Fahrenheit Technology IT staffing business. Global Employment describes Fahrenheit has one of the largest privately held technology consulting firms in the greater Richmond, Va., area.

Fahrenheit will keep its original leadership and support team. It will also continue under the Fahrenheit brand.

Global Employment reported the acquisition will allow it to expand placement services across multiple industries in the areas of information technology strategy, software development, program/project management consulting and quality assurance testing.

“Fahrenheit is a natural addition to Global … Together, we will provide even greater capabilities to Fahrenheit’s customers and a broadened national service offering made available by Global’s multiple office locations across the United States,” said Jason Tate, president of Fahrenheit.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.
