TriNet Group Inc., a San Leandro CA-based professional employer organization, announced it completed its acquisition of Gevity HR Inc., a Bradenton FL-based PEO. The combined company will have 8,000 customers and 130,000 employees nationwide, according to TriNet.

TriNet had announced March 5 that it struck a deal to acquire Gevity in a cash transaction valued at approximately $98.0 million.

Gevity will no longer be a publicly traded company as part of privately held TriNet.
