A French appeals court upheld a euro34.0 million (US$48.1 million) fine against Adecco SA, the company reported today.

The fine stemmed from alleged anti-competitive practices that took place between March 2003 and November 2004 in France. Manpower Inc. (NYSE: MAN) and Randstad Holding SA were also fined.
