Franchise separates from larger staffing firm

June 17, 2009

A Washington DC-based staffing firm changed its name to Parker Tide from Snelling Metro Personnel after the company separated from Snelling Staffing Services. Snelling is allowing franchisees to buy out of their agreements for the first time, according to Parker Tide.

Parker Tide specializes in the government staffing market, and announced its operations will continue unchanged.

Parker Tide President Anthony Parker said its business model as a government contracting company differed from that of Snelling's.

Parker Tide has $10 million in annual sales, according to its Web site.
