France – DLSI’s results buoyed by international revenue

03 March 2015

French staffing firm DLSI Groupe (ALDLS: PAR), in a trading update, reported revenue of €181.0 million for the full year ending 31 December 2014, a decrease of 1.6% compared with €183.8 million the previous year. In terms of constant currency, however, the company achieved revenue growth of 3.5% during 2014.

Revenue from the fourth quarter was reported to be in line with that reported in Q4 2013, as a result of the persistent tightness of the French recruitment market. This, however, was achieved against a market that declined by 4.0% in December, according to the latest figures from the French staffing association Prism’Emploi.

DLSI provides temporary staffing and recruitment services to clients in a wide variety of sectors. The company has a network of agencies located throughout France, as well as in Luxembourg, Germany, Poland, and Switzerland.

Revenue from the company’s international operations increased by 2.8% (5.7% in constant currency) during 2014, compared with last year. DLSI’s improved performance outside of France has strengthened the company’s ambitions to expand further into the European market.

Looking forward, DLSI Group feels that the economy is recovering and that the outlook for 2015 is better than it was for 2014.

Short-term and medium-term indicators are starting to show signs of recovery. The company has continued its expansion plans by opening new branches and consolidating its position in Switzerland, Germany, and Poland, in particular.

As a result of improved conditions and following the company’s restructuring, revenue in 2015 is expected to grow strongly.

In trading today, the company’s share price rose by 0.4% to €11.85, an increase of 10.0% compared with a year ago. Based on its current share price, the company has a market value of €30.0 million.
