Fortune Industries Inc. (AMEX: FFI), an Indianapolis-based professional employer organization operator, named Tena Mayberry as CEO effective today.

Mayberry takes over from John Fisbeck, who had served as CEO since June 2005. Mayberry will also continue to serve as president, a role she has held since April 2009.

Mayberry "has demonstrated her leadership skills as the head of Fortune's PEO subsidiaries for the past two years, and was officially named president of the company shortly after the sale of Fortune's non-PEO entities in November 2008," Fisbeck said. "Under her direction, the company has been profitable during the last year, despite the difficult economic environment."
