The Training Associates, a Westborough, Mass.-based staffing firm that specializes in providing trainer staffing, appointed Scott Margason as chief operating officer. He will lead the company’s service delivery, information technology and compliance initiatives.

“It’s a new position,” said Keith Lippert, director of marketing communications at The Training Associates. “We are experiencing tremendous growth and penetrating into a few new markets, including international markets. He’s here for his experience and leadership.”

Margason had a 27-year career at Accenture, most recently as the North America industrialization lead. He also recently served briefly as senior director of client delivery at ServiceSource, which provides recurring revenue management services.
