Fastaff Travel Nursing and U.S. Nursing Corporation were acquired by Healthcare Staffing Services LLC, according to an announcement on Friday. The companies had been part of Reliant Healthcare, which had ranked as the 13^th-largest U.S. healthcare staffing provider.

Reliant was owned by private equity firm Clarion Capital Partners.

Executive chairman of Healthcare Staffing Services is Ray Marcy, who had served as executive chairman at Reliant. Marcy had in the past served as executive chairman of Nursefinders Inc. In addition, he is a former CEO of Spherion Corp.

“We are very excited about our new financial sponsorship as this will allow us to further expand our Rapid Response travel nurse staffing model that Fastaff and U.S. Nursing Corporation pioneered over 25 years ago,” Marcy said in a press release.

Fastaff and U.S. Nursing are based in Greenwood Village, Colo.
