A majority (65%) of accounting and finance professionals believe the United States is in a recession, and 54% believe the economic uncertainty is making their jobs more complex, according to a poll by Ajilon Finance, a U.S. finance and accounting staffing division of Adecco S.A. On the other hand, 65% said there is the same amount of job opportunities, or more, for accountants compared with a year ago.

The survey included more than 500 finance and accounting professionals as part of the Institute of Management Accountants' Inside Talk webinar series.
