Field Nation taps staffing veteran for exec VP role

Field Nation, a freelance management system provider, today named Tim Giehll to the newly created role of executive VP, platform eco-system. Giehll will oversee Field Nation’s platform ecosystem that independent contractors and businesses use to engage, connect and complete work.

Giehll most recently was chief revenue officer of Avionte Systems, a provider of front- and back-office software to the staffing industry. He has also held executive-level roles with Bond International Software, Manpower Staffing, and IBM/Sequent Computers. In addition, Giehll has written two published books: “Human Capital Supply Chain” and “Human Capital Financial Reports.”

“Tim’s background perfectly suits our need to build a vibrant ecosystem of partnerships on the Field Nation platform and better serve our growing network of users,” said Field Nation CEO Mynul Khan. “His 15 years of staffing, technology and human capital expertise will be invaluable as we advance the platform to accommodate high-value partnerships that are meaningful to both providers and businesses that rely on Field Nation.”

Field Nation last month closed a $30 million investment led by Susquehanna Growth Equity. It is included on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of the world’s largest human cloud platforms. The company is categorized as a freelancer management system, a sub-segment of online staffing platforms.
