Healthcare Staffing Services LLC announced Allison Beer joined the company as CEO. Healthcare Staffing Services acquired Fastaff Travel Nursing and U.S. Nursing Corp. from Reliant Healthcare in February.

Beer previously served as president of RN Network, a CHG Healthcare Services company based in Boca Raton, Fla. She joined RN Network as vice president in April 2007. Prior to that, Beer was vice president of Weatherby Locums, another CHG Healthcare Services company. She has more than 12 years of nurse staffing experience, including four years as divisional vice president at AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AHS).

“Uniquely, she has been highly successful at virtually all positions within the staffing industry, from recruiting and sales to senior executive of a major firm and president of a significant healthcare staffing firm,” said Healthcare Staffing Services Executive Chair Ray Marcy. “Joining us as the CEO of our two powerful brands is simply the next logical step in a stellar career for Allison.”

Fastaff is a medical and travel nurse staffing firm; U.S. Nursing provides nurse staffing during labor disputes. Both firms are based in Greenwood Village, Colo.
