Forty-eight percent of workers said they are paid well, while 46% said they aren't, according to Express Personnel Services' quarterly "what workers want" survey.
Express reported the survey found that people who said they were paid adequately were, in general, 45 years old or older and worked for their current company six years or longer.
Those who said they weren't paid adequately were, in general, between 25 and 35 years old, held an associate's degree or attended some college, held middle management or salaried positions and had been with their current company for five years or less, according to Express.
