Executive search firm Egon Zehnder reports revenue up 9% in 2014

February 23, 2015

Egon Zehnder International, a privately held executive search firm, reported revenue rose 8.8% in 2014 to $692.1 million.

The US is the fastest-paced growth market with continued double-digit growth. Significant gains were also recorded in mature markets across Europe — namely the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Spain and the Nordic markets — and in Australia.

“CEO, board and senior executive talent decisions remain the top differentiator impacting organizational effectiveness and success,” said CEO Rajeev Vasudeva. “The new global context is a highly inter-connected, constantly evolving marketplace requiring a different type of leader. Organizations across all industry sectors will increasingly need to develop from within to position their leadership teams for what comes next, while at the same time look beyond traditional sectors and roles for the highly skilled, nimble leaders who will create a sustainable competitive advantage.”

Egon Zehnder ranks as the fifth-largest retained search firm in the US. It added a Washington, DC office in 2014 for a total to 69 offices across 41 countries.
