View All NewsEurope – Agency worker job market on the path to full recovery
The number of hours worked by agency workers across Europe increased by 6.2% during April 2015, compared with the same month last year, according to the latest figures from Eurociett, the European Confederation of Private Employment Services.
Switzerland returned to growth, albeit timidly, after three consecutive months of declines. Double-digit growth was, once again, reported in Belgium, the Netherlands, Finland, and Italy. Poland continued its steady rise, with France staving off the worrying outlook of the previous month.
The only sour note was struck by Norway, which reported a decrease of 8.2% in the number of hours worked by agency workers during Q1 2015, compared with the same period last year.
