Engineering majors posted the highest starting salary, at $62,891, among graduates of the class of 2014, according to salary survey data released by the National Association of Colleges and Employers. Communications grads posted the largest year-over-year increase in starting salary at 10.1 percent.
Overall, the average starting salary for all majors rose 7.5 percent year over year, according to NACE’s September 2014 Salary Survey report.
