Elzinga & Volkers rebrands professional services division

July 08, 2015

Elzinga & Volkers Inc., a staffing and project management services provider, rebranded its professional services division, Elzinga & Volkers Professional Services, to EV Group, effective July 1. The rebranding sets the organization up for growth into new markets outside of its traditional business lines of construction and engineering staffing.

EVPS previously provided construction management personnel, supplemental staffing and project management services mainly to the food production and storage industry. However, in the past five years its service offerings have expanded to include supplemental staffing and other employment-related services across a more broad range of industries and in non-construction related positions. The additional industries include engineering/architecture, supply chain management, manufacturing/industrial, retail, healthcare and senior living markets.

EV Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Elzinga & Volkers Inc., is headquartered in West Michigan, with satellite operations in the Chicago area. In 2014, EV group managed more than 150,000 hours of placements (60 full-time equivalent placements) throughout the US and Canada. Billings for 2014 were approximately $7 million.

Founded in 1945 and also headquartered in West Michigan, Elzinga & Volkers Inc. has operations nationwide and provides a variety of construction and consulting services. The 130-person firm managed nearly $90 million in capital construction and expansion through its construction group and managed more than 150,000 man hours of staffing placements through its subsidiary, EV Group.
