Eliassen Group, a Wakefield, Mass.-based information technology staffing firm, promoted Mark Biscoe to president, effective immediately. The president role is a new position within the company.

Biscoe spent eight years at Kforce Professional Services, part of Kforce Inc. (NASD: KFRC), prior to joining Eliassen. Biscoe was president of Kforce’s North Region and oversaw the technology and financial consulting and permanent placement divisions in the Northeast and Midwest markets. He has also held executive positions at Renaissance Worldwide, Intepros Consulting and Belenos.

Biscoe joined Eliassen Group as executive vice president of field operations in 2012, overseeing field operations in the Great Lakes, Quad States, and Mid-Atlantic regions. Biscoe is now responsible for all regions for the firm including New England, as well as the company’s life sciences, biometrics and data solutions, national delivery and direct hire divisions.
