The Eastridge Group of Staffing Companies reported it acquired certain assets of Southern California firm Abigail Abbott Staffing Services Inc. effective Oct. 12. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

The Abigail Abbott businesses acquired in the deal will become Abbott Staffing Group, a subsidiary of Eastridge. Abbott Staffing Group will provide finance/accounting, administrative, culinary and industrial staffing. Shelle Kulik, former Abigail Abbott president, will serve as managing director of Abbott Staffing Group.

Eastridge said it may also add other staffing segments to Abbott Staffing Group's operations including construction, conventions and hospitality, human resources, legal, healthcare, and telecommunications.
