The Eastridge Group of Staffing Companies announced Thursday it is set to acquire TheraStaff Inc., an allied healthcare staffing firm, effective March 1. San Diego-based TheraStaff provides physical, occupational and speech therapists.

TheraStaff will keep its brand name, and its founder, William Stone, will remain with the company as president of Eastridge's TheraStaff division.

"TheraStaff has built a strong presence during the 15 years it's been staffing for patient rehab in California's healthcare industry, and we look forward to expanding its presence nationally," said Mike Santos, VP of business development and new ventures for Eastridge.

Terms of the deal were not announced

Privately held Eastridge is based in San Diego.
