June 09, 2009

The ABU, the Dutch association of temporary work agencies, reported that revenue in the Dutch temporary staffing market fell 25% in the four-week period to May 17, according to a Reuters report. ABU attributed the decline to continued weakness in the industrial and technical sectors.

Hours worked in the Dutch staffing market fell 28% in the four-week period. In the industrial sector, sales fell 35%, and the technical sector recorded a 33% drop in sales, ABU said.
