Decton acquires Southern California clinical staffing firm

September 04, 2013

Decton Inc. acquired Clinical Staffing Services and will merge the Southern California firm into its Clinical Healthcare division. Clinical Staffing Services’ executives will remain with the company.

“The merger gives Clinical Staffing Services an awesome opportunity to increase the nurses and service it offers to its many hospital and allied healthcare client partners,” said Warren Wilcox, president and co-CEO of Clinical Staffing Services.

The transaction closed Aug. 29, but terms were not disclosed.

Clinical Staffing Services makes about 100 placements annually and logs annual revenue of about $3 million.

Decton’s annual revenue is more than $60 million and the company makes at least 500 placements monthly, according to Marketing Director William Sanford. It has locations in Southern California, Phoenix and Las Vegas and provides staffing services to a variety of sectors including nursing, construction, skilled trades, administrative and professional, IT, call center, light industrial, maintenance and engineering.

In July, Denton acquired nurse staffing firm AllStar Staffing.
